Listening to the voice of God

One of the greatest benefits of our salvation has to be that of hearing God speak to us personally. While the voices of the world can be voices of chaos pulling us this way and that, God is constantly speaking to us and giving us directions. Our job is not to listen to the voices of chaos, but to challenge those voices with the Word of God. We must learn how to take minibreaks from the world, and be still in God presence and listen to the voice of God.

“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”      Zephaniah 3:17
