Be careful to not bow down to the idols

When you seek God instead of the world’s idols, you experience God’s joy and peace. The glitter of the world is temporal, but God grace and mercy is everlasting. Be careful that you are not bowing down to false gods.

“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord God, am a jealous God.” Exodus 20: 3-5
