Golden Connection

This ministry was started in 2003 by Rev. Burton Mack, who was the Pastor at the time, and Sister Hilda Diggs, who was the ministries’ first chairperson. This ministry is for members of our congregation who are age 60 years or older. The joint mission and vision of this ministry is to have a spiritual relationship with other seniors. We do this by visiting the sick and shut-ins, making phone calls and by offering any assistance that is needed to our senior community. We meet March-April-May (Spring) and September- October- November (Fall) .The Golden Connection also has a church service in September on Grandparent Day and a Christmas Gathering in December.
